Motor Third Party Liability Insurance (MTPL)

This insurance policy is designed to protect the injured parties in traffic accidents for the damages and losses incurred by the driver (policy holder). If happens an accident in which you are responsible, the insurance company will compensate the damage suffered by third parties for you.

Your insurance covers your legal liability for the damage for all occupants in the vehicles.

Third-party insurance also offers coverage for the policy holder (owner of the vehicle) and the passengers in case of:

• Permanent disability
• Accidental Death

Your insurance policy may include your car windows and windscreen according your policy terms and conditions. MTPL insurance policies are renewed annually.

In case of a small material damage the participants in the traffic accident can fill in and sign the European Traffic Accident Report (Manual).

In other cases, you need to inform the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
